Microblogging Conference 09

Contrôlez-Vous, Inc. (Control Yourself, Inc.) is a Quebec corporation headquartered in Montreal, Canada. The company lead by Evan Prodromou makes Open Network Services - sites that use Open Source software to create and distribute Open Content:

• Identi.ca an Open Network micro-blogging service based on the Free Software Laconica tool.
• Laconi.ca, the Open Source platform behind Identi.ca
• Certifi.ca uses OpenID and client-side SSL certificates to give you a secure authentication service based on public-key encryption.
• ur1.ca, a url shortener using lilURL

Evan Prodromou will attend MBC09, make a keynote, hold a couple of sessions and participate at the panel discussion at the end on the first day on Friday late afternoon. We are thrilled. He will also bring an application for showing the latest mbc09-related dents from identi.ca in a stream. It was first used at OSCON 2008 to show the dents by people at the event on a permanent screen. In Germany we call this a “dent-wall”, Evan! Also he is going to be launching some new big features to synch with MBC09. This is good news!
